The Exploding Plastic Inevitable Tired Jew Tour
I'm heading back on the road to launch 1.) my new insomnia
anthology, "AWAKE! A Reader for the Sleepless" and 2.) the
paperback edition of my JewPunk tome, "The Heebie-Jeebies
at CBGB's: A Secret History of Jewish Punk."
As usual, I'm a bit late in notifying you about the first event, but if
you can make it, I'd love to see you. Otherwise, be sure to make
note of what's ahead so that you can begin to plan your calendars
accordingly!
Oh yes -- as you'll notice, many of these readings involve music; but
not just music, music as aural support for the readings. Others also
include audio-visual presentations, actors and performance artists
(among them, Amanda Palmer of The Dresden Dolls). It's a kind of
Exploding Plastic Inevitable for a new generation. Show up and you
just might witness the birth of the next Velvet Underground. Imagine
being able to tell your grandchildren that!
Oh yeah, all events are free -- especially for invited guests like you.
And one even includes free beer. PBR to be exact.
RIP,
s

How could you not have called this the "Wandering Jew Tour"? I guess "tired" works better with the whole insomnia theme.
You're right. Even though I was going with the insomnia theme, "wandering Jew" is too perfect to pass up. How about this -- "The Exploding Plastic Inevitable Tiredly Wandering Jew Tour." Pithy, ain't it?
